YIWU & CHINA SOURCING
PRODUCT SOURCING / BEAUTY & PERSONAL CARE
Develop a beauty-accessory range around the details customers touch every day: a smooth brush handle, a reliable zipper and a dispenser that fits properly. This category covers non-formulated accessories. Electrical items, filled cosmetics and products making medical or treatment claims need a separate feasibility review.

EXPLORE THE CATEGORY
Product directions to discuss, with the details that distinguish one quotation from another. These are inquiry options; availability and minimum quantities are confirmed for the proposed version.
01
Paddle brushes, detangling styles and everyday combs. Define handle material, bristle or tooth construction, dimensions and intended hair-use direction. Review sharp edges, loose parts and the attachment between the head and handle.
02
Individual brushes, brush sets and related storage accessories. Specify the fibre, handle, ferrule and set contents. Review shedding, assembly and cleaning expectations on the sample rather than comparing the handle colour alone.
03
Pouches, wash bags and compartment organisers. Define outer and lining materials, dimensions, zipper type and pocket layout. Confirm whether the sample is measured flat or filled, particularly when the bag must fit into a gift box.
04
Non-electrical hand mirrors, compact mirrors and vanity organisers. Specify viewing area, frame construction, hinge and stand. Review reflective quality and how surfaces will be protected from scratches during packing.
05
Empty pump bottles, soap dishes and matching bathroom accessories. Specify capacity, bottle or body material, pump output requirements and finish. Check the fit of closures and the intended product compatibility with the supplier.
06
Empty travel bottles, accessory cases and coordinated travel sets. List each component and its capacity. If leak performance matters, define how the closed sample will be checked and whether protective outer packing is needed.
07
Wash headbands, wrist accessories and small textile beauty items. Agree fabric construction, dimensions, stretch expectations and seams. Approve the label and retail pack alongside the colour and hand-feel.
08
Combine selected tools, a bag or an organiser under one brand. Use a full component list and a packing layout. Do not include filled formulas or claims that have not been reviewed within the project scope.
SPECIFICATION PLANNER
Use these fields when comparing proposals. Confirm requirements for the actual item instead of filling the gaps with a similar catalogue model.

| Specification | What to define | What to clarify with the supplier |
|---|---|---|
| Intended use | Who will use it, how it is used and any claims on the pack. | Separate an everyday accessory from an electrical, cosmetic or treatment-related product at the start. |
| Contact materials | Brush fibre, handle, lining, pump, container and coating. | Specify each important component rather than accepting a single general material description. |
| Size & fit | Finished dimensions, capacity, compartments and closure fit. | Check whether all components fit the selected bag, tray or gift-box insert. |
| Surface & assembly | Edges, seams, ferrules, hinges, decoration and attachments. | Agree visible-defect examples and practical-use checks on the approval sample. |
| Clean presentation | Individual protection, retail packing and handling expectations. | Define protective packing and cleanliness criteria without making unsupported sterile or antibacterial claims. |
| Artwork & identification | Logo method, barcode, labels and version references. | Keep the approved text and decoration linked to the exact accessory and packaging version. |
BRANDING & PRESENTATION
01
A logo method must suit the substrate and shape. Ask about printable area, minimum line thickness and position tolerance. A mockup helps choose the direction; a decorated physical sample confirms the result.
02
Match the bag, tools and packaging with a common palette. Check component dimensions before ordering the insert. If any item is replaced, approve the new fit and appearance rather than treating it as an invisible substitution.
03
Use sleeves, pouches, cards or fitted trays according to the accessory. Mirrors and polished surfaces need protection from abrasion; brushes need packing that does not distort the fibres. Confirm the actual packing configuration before bulk production.
SAMPLE & PRE-SHIPMENT REVIEW
Use the agreed sample, specification and packing reference together. The final checklist and any specialist work are confirmed for the product and destination.
SCOPE & EVIDENCE
Claims such as antibacterial, hypoallergenic or therapeutic require their own evidence and review. A smooth-looking sample does not establish those properties. State any proposed claim in the first brief so it is not discovered after artwork is printed.
Keep observations, corrective actions and the authorised release decision connected to the same product and order reference.
CREATE A TRAVEL-CARE SET
Bring toiletry pouches, empty travel bottles and non-electrical mirrors together as a coordinated travel set. Confirm pouch dimensions and lining, bottle capacities and mirror construction, then review all components inside the finished pouch. Check closures, protection and the packed shape. Keep accessory costs, branding, packaging and assembly visible in the quotation, and approve the component list before production.
FOR YOUR OWN INQUIRY
CATEGORY QUESTIONS
Our beauty range focuses on bags, brushes, empty travel containers and other non-formulated accessories. Filled cosmetics, electrical devices and treatment products require a separate technical and regulatory review before a sourcing scope is confirmed.
Colour and decoration options depend on the material, process and order quantity. Send a colour reference and artwork with the inquiry. Ask whether the colour is an existing option or a custom production run, and request the associated minimum and setup cost.
Specify the finished dimensions, measurement method and any permitted tolerance. Include the items the bag must hold and review a fully loaded sample. A flat outline or catalogue measurement may not describe its usable internal space.
Do not use that description solely because it appears in a catalogue. Identify the intended contents and conditions, then agree the relevant closure and leak checks. Confirm the exact proposed model and the evidence needed for any performance claim.
Approve the component list, each accessory, decoration, insert fit and complete packed set. Record quantities, approved substitutions if any, and how missing or defective components should be handled. Component approval alone does not establish that the finished set packs correctly.
Specialist testing or document review can be discussed as a separate scope for the exact product and destination. Availability, laboratory choice, sample requirements, cost and decision responsibility should be confirmed before the order is committed.
