BUILD A SMALL ORDER FILE

Keep the four documents connected.

Start with the sourcing brief and carry its product codes into the quote comparison. When a supplier and version are selected, attach the sample approval, artwork and packing reference. Use the same identifiers in the inspection checklist and shipment records.

The downloadable CSV is a starting worksheet, not a substitute for a final purchase order, laboratory specification or shipping document. Add the fields your project needs and keep undecided points marked clearly. A short, current order file is more useful than several conflicting copies.
